Glass Finishing Prize at glasstec 2010

Congratulations Maximilian Schmitz (sculpture made of hand casted Lamberts glass) and congratulations Peter Irberseder (triptych made of mouthblown Lamberts glass). The Glass Finishing Prize is awarded regularly by the Federal Association of Glazier Trades (BIV) at glasstec. It goes to the best products in finished glass.

Energy surcharge

From now we offer the opportunity to get mouth-blown LambertsGlas®, processed to Insulating Glass, directly ex factory. Mainly our mouth-blown "Full Restoration-Glass" is used in Insulating Glass; as a matter of course, other varieties of glass are available on customer-demand.

Manufactured into appropriate insulating glasses, mouth-blown window glasses also accomplish latest demands on heat- and sound-insulation.

edition.Lamberts – Jewelery made from mouth blown LambertsGlas®

Square. Mouth blown. LambertsGlas^®. Three words that perfectly describe the new jewelery-line edition.Lamberts. Usually mouth blown LambertsGlas^® is used to realize major artist’s and architectural projects. Renowned painter Gerhard Richter worked with LambertsGlas^® for his much talked about window in Cologne’s cathedral, in far-away Kaohsiung/Taiwan it was used for building a dome covering a Subway station, and these are just a few examples.

But when goldsmith Gabriele Fürus from Ochsenfurt first encountered the handmade glass, manufactured in line with ancient traditions, she spontaneously decided to turn it into a jewelery-line. Reiner Meindl, president and shareholder of Glashütte Lamberts Waldsassen didn’t need to be convinced. Always ready to break new ground with “his” glass he cut the large sheets of glass into small squares. Gabriele Fürus fitted the LambertsGlas^® into her handcrafted silver frames. A new brand was born: edition.Lamberts - colorful rings, pendants and cuff links. LambertsGlas^®’ lively textures and luminous colors called for no further treatment. Complemented by the plain design, the pure material unfolds its remarkable brilliancy. The handmade Edition is limited.
